Areola Restoration

What Is Areola Restoration?

Areola Restoration is a specialized paramedical tattoo procedure that recreates or enhances the appearance of the areola and nipple area after breast surgery, mastectomy, or other conditions that have affected the natural pigmentation.
This technique uses advanced color-matching and shading to restore a natural 3D look, helping clients regain confidence and feel whole again.

Whether you’ve had a mastectomy, breast reconstruction, top surgery, or cosmetic procedure — this treatment is designed to bring balance, beauty, and realism back to your breasts.

How Many Sessions Are Needed?

Most clients require 1–2 sessions for full results.
• First session: creates the base color, shape, and symmetry.
• Second session (6–8 weeks later): perfects color depth and detail once the skin is healed.

How Long Does Each Appointment Take?

Each appointment typically lasts 2–3 hours, depending on whether it’s one or both areolas and the amount of detail needed.

Price
• Single Areola: starting at $450
• Both Areolas: starting at $750–$850
(Final pricing may vary based on correction or reconstruction needs.)

What to Expect After the Procedure

Immediately after treatment, the color may appear darker and more vibrant — this is normal.
Within the next few days, you might notice:
• Mild redness or swelling
• Slight scabbing or flaking
• Gradual lightening as the area heals and the color settles

Full healing usually takes 4–6 weeks, and results can last for many years with proper care.

Aftercare Instructions

Proper aftercare is crucial for the best results.
For the first 7–10 days:
• Keep the area clean and dry — avoid soaking, pools, saunas, or steam.
• Apply a thin layer of healing ointment (such as Aquaphor or the aftercare balm provided).
• Do not pick or scratch the scabs as this can cause pigment loss.
• Avoid tight clothing or friction around the treated area.
• Keep out of direct sunlight and avoid tanning until fully healed.

Once healed, always use sunscreen (SPF 30+) to protect the pigment from fading.
